RIP McSteamy

So Grey's Anatomy premiered tonight.... and I cried a river starting about 10 minutes into the show. As you can tell McSteamy took his last breathe on the show and it was traumatic to say the least. Meredith said it right nothing is the same, everyone is leaving or dying. It was a dark and twisty episode to say the least. Sara Rameriz was brilliant as usual. Callie really got me crying a lot, and of course my hearthrob Derek. I don't know what this season has in store but it started off wonderfully *sarcastic voice* Shonda you should get an Emmy for breaking the most hearts in one hour.

Here's to Mark. You brought some steam to the television that's for sure. There's always reruns to watch I guess.

New blog, new job - sort of, new class, new school... new

I'm also working at a clinic more details about that are on my PA blog... and I'm taking a class at NOVA again more about PA school. My life has been revolving around PA school prep lately.

So this blog is basically my whatever I want to share/update about blog :P

And maybe I'll come around to writing a new fanfic if someone wants to play my muse. But for now writing will be put on hold.

Sedatives and Birthday Dinners

Neglecting..graduation..job hunt.. freelance artist

Oh blog, I've been neglecting you. So to update, I graduated last month. BS Health Administration :) Graduation was fun, went to both convocation and commencement. Glad its over but I kind of miss it. Anyways looking into grad school now and job hunting still. I'm being patient but this is hard. I need to find my big girl job haha. Interviewed at a bunch of places but you know that click where you know that its meant for you, that hasn't happened yet, ah well I'll keep looking.

On a side note, thinking of getting back into painting and becoming a freelancer on the side. I miss my art and would love to make it a full time thing if it kicked off that is. Until then, need to get up and get paint supplies and start building a portfolio.

Also I'm getting a cat! yayy!! A cute little kitten can't wait.

Graduation!!

As of Tuesday, I have officially completed my undergrad. Well the work anyways, turned in my last paper and gave my last presentation!! Still waiting for final grades though. As for graduation its in one week, so surreal that this is happening. Feels like I was just a freshmen yesterday. Anywhos.... I've been job hunting. And I'm coming to terms with I don't want to go right into working, I want a freaking break!!! Like for reals I want to just have fun and not have to worry about anything, I want to travel, do that backpacking through Europe thing. I can always keep an eye out on the job market but I'm seriously considering taking this summer to myself and not worrying about anything. Then I can start work later or grad school, who knows. Need to do some soul searching

Lisa Edelstein's New PETA ad

Hey all!!!

So all the Lisabians out there will already know this little bit of information. PETA released an ad today to promote healthier living by eating veggies to go green and who was their celebrity spokes person?? yes you guessed it the lovely Lisa Edelstein!! The ad featured Lisa lying on a bed of kale (which is one of her favorite veggies) stark naked. Lisa's been a vegetarian since she was 15 and her body for a 45? year old is freaking gorgeous! If I look like that when I'm in my 40s I'll announce it to the world and not hide my age or claim to be 25 like some people do, I mean seriously I don't get why the aunties will all just claim their 25 like hello if you want it to be believable knock a couple years off you really expect me to believe your only 3 years older than me? I was a kid at your wedding -_-

Back to Lisa... they have a behind the scenes footage of the shoot... that photographer was one lucky man....

Isn't she just adorable!! I want a rescue cat... yes I think I might have ADD because I get sidetracked very easily... SQUIRREL! lol...

March 2012....

So I turned 22... I don't like even numbers, I'm 21+1 :P

Life's been busy, interning, working on my lit review, job hunting... its a lot of work.. and then on top of that I want to publish my lit review so I have to make it worth wild...

Internship has been going well, one major project is getting finito :P the other one is well under way and I might be getting another project soon. Hoping that this will lead to a job, because I like what I'm doing here.

I got my cap and gown! and I realized I can't sign up for classes because I'm no longer a student.... wow ...

Busy Busy Busy

Long time no blogging...

What can I say, semester started and it's been busy... and yet I'm only part time this semester -_-
I started my internship with Inova, love it! I love being there even if it isn't in the hospital, knowing I'm working with the CEO of the system is very cool! haha and the research practicum, granted so far it's been not too much work, but that's not going to last :P School itself is easy and not much, just working... which brings me to another dilemma finding a job come May. Graduating and don't have a job yet is scary to say the least... I'm hoping I get one at Inova. InshaAllah.

I still don't know what I'm going to do about grad school...

And I want to go to advocacy day this year... time to start recruiting people to go :P

Back to School

Winter break has come to an end that means back to school for my last semester at Mason. Wow last semester, time sure flew. This should be my easiest semester academic wise... I'm not even full time... only taking 9 credits and I'll graduate with 3 extra woot! and I'm interning, went to the orientation today. Ready as I'll ever be I guess... just need to figure out what to do after graduation. Hopefully I land a job at the internship :)

OH and Superbowl in 2 weeks... watched the division championships... dayummmm.....

Save the Children Advocacy Day

Almost that time of year again....yup Advocacy Day is around the corner!!! I'm really hoping to go this year, I want to go an advocate for the kids!! So for all of you that don't know what Advocacy Day is, its two days of workshops, receptions, and you get to hear speeches and get prepped on how to talk to the legislators and then you get to go out and speak with your congress people! How cool is that? And you're advocating for whatever cause they are doing that year the year before last it was See where the good goes. According to the register page, it seems like the them this year is No Food = No Future, so along the lines of the East Africa Famine.

Virginia Beach Vacation/ NEW YEAR'S EVE

Spent the past four days in southern Virginia. Left Thursday around noon first stop Williamsburg. Got there around 3PM and checked into the hotel, ate lunch and then went to the Ripley's museum and 4D theater. Spent a couple hours there. Next day checked out of the hotel and went to an outlet for a bit and then headed to Norfolk, VA to do a Naval Base Cruise.

Two hour cruise, saw all the different boats it took us through the Elizabeth river to Hampton Roads and the guy narrated for a while. Went and stood on the bow of the ship, titanic feeling, LOL. And then when the narration was done the boat was heading back. We went to the lower deck to go inside, parents sat in one row we took the row in front, while we are sitting some lady comes and goes "did you sit on our stuff?" I'm like umm No... unless you mean this trash thats your stuff, she thought she could reserve her seat by using trash. -_- I'm sorry I ain't moving lady, trash does not mean its taken. So yeah didn't move, she was pissed but I didn't care, took out my phone and saw that its rumored that Lisa Edelstein might be coming back to House!!!! OMG if thats true eeek!!!

Yeah so then left Norfolk and headed to Virginia Beach and checked in. Ate some and then went on the boardwalk for a bit. Got their right around sunset and the sky was GORGEOUS!! then it got dark lol. 

Next day after breakfast went to the beach and sat their for a few hours reading Chasing Zebras, enjoying watching the water, stepped in the water, freezing cold, walking around, doing yoga, etc. I love the beach. 

I want to get a beach house when I'm older, New Year's Eve day was very relaxing just sitting around the beach... rest of the familia that came down decided to go mini golfing and stuff but we passed on that to enjoy the beach, after all you go to the beach to GO TO THE BEACH... not leave the beach and go mini golfing... just saying I mean whatever floats your boat really. Then went out to find dinner, such a hassle... after that walked around the boardwalk some more and then went back in changed into PJs and sat to twitter/fb and watch Dick Clarks Rockin New Year's Eve :) what was gaga wearing?? LOL I like born this way though so that was a plus. 

Today morning woke up to watch the sun rise over the ocean. So pretty!!

Went back to sleep and then got up and the seagulls were flying, the people in the suite next to ours were throwing food so we got some bread and threw some too they came so close it was so cool and they catch it in their mouths, they were fighting over food it was so cute!!! and they'd eat out of your hand!

And then alas after eating some pancakes and chugging some coffee, were on the road heading home. Took a couple stops for a bathroom breaks and snacks, rest stop for bathroom breaks actual restrooms were busted and it had lines of porta pottys and some sink thing where you had to pump the water with your foot so strange and gross.... never again haha 

Got home around 3PM and got into my sweats, ate falafel and french fries and relaxing. Love the beach want more time there. Next time I'm taking a beach chair and umberella LOL

Happy New Year!! Hoping that 2012 brings about many new and better things, and this year is the best yet.

As for resolutions... not sure yet.
